Ukraine’s president says Russian missile strikes on cities including Kharkiv in the east and the capital Kyiv have killed at least 18 people and injured more than one hundred others.
Commanders say their forces shot down 22 out of 44 missiles fired by the Russians. Hundreds of buildings were damaged and water and power supplies disrupted.
