Two people killed as Storm Isha brings winds of almost 100mph to parts of UK

Another named storm is expected to bring “severe and damaging gusts” after two people died as a result of Storm Isha.

An 84-year-old man was killed as the car he was travelling in collided with a fallen tree in Grangemouth, Scotland – while in County Londonderry a man in his 60s died after a crash involving two vans.

Winds measuring almost 100mph brought disruption for many during Storm Isha, and another severe weather front – Storm Jocelyn – is already on its way.
