London chemical attack: Govt has ‘failed’ by not returning those with rejected asylum applications

Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Darren Jones has told Sky News that the government has “failed” by not returning migrants who have had their asylum application rejected.

It comes after it emerged that the Clapham chemical attack suspect Abdul Shokoor Ezedi was granted asylum in either 2021 or 2022, despite having committed a sexual offence in 2018.
