Home Secretary James Cleverly says voters tell him that they “aren’t convinced by Labour leader Keir Starmer” who “doesn’t have a plan” for the country.
Mr Cleverly said he was “surprised” that the new leader of Reform UK was now running in Clacton to be an MP, but that the party had “always been a vehicle for Nigel Farage’s self-promotion”.
