India’s exit polls show a majority for Modi’s BJP-led alliance in election

Early exit polls in India’s general elections are projecting a victory for the governing BJP and its allies.
It follows a six-week long election, where hundreds of millions of voters battled a heatwave to cast their ballots.

The Indian government has not granted visas to Al Jazeera’s journalists, so we are covering the election from outside the country.
