Israel’s army has greenlit plans for an offensive into southern Lebanon, as tensions between Israel and the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia rise.
The Israeli Foreign Minister threatened to destroy Hezbollah if it comes to an all-out war. His statement came after Hezbollah hinted it could attack the northern Israeli port city of Haifa, releasing drone images which it said showed areas around the city. The Israeli army released new footage said to show airstrikes against several Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. Clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah have been frequent since the start of the war in Gaza in October.
