Princess Anne in hospital with minor injuries and concussion after incident

Princess Anne has sustained ‘minor injuries and a concussion’ after an incident on 23 June, Buckingham Palace has said.

It is understood emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on the Gatcombe Park estate, Gloucestershire, to treat injuries believed to have been caused by impact with a horse’s head or leg.

The Princess Royal was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. Buckingham Palace says the move is just a precautionary measure and she’s expected to make a full and swift recovery.
