In Beijing, US President Joe Biden’s national security advisor has met with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The rare direct meeting with China’s leader caps three days of high-level talks for Jake Sullivan. Those talks come at a time of heightened tensions between the superpowers across a range of issues.
