Boko Haram accused of massacring village in Nigeria | DW News

Authorities in Nigeria say Boko Haram militants have massacred more than 80 people. Local media are reporting that insurgents on motorcycles killed villagers and set buildings ablaze.

The attack took place in Yobe state in the northeast. Dozens of bodies have been taken to a local hospital. It’s feared more victims will be found. Boko Haram and other jihadist groups have waged a 15-year insurgency in northeastern Nigeria that has killed more than 40,000 people.
