Why Finland is closing its borders as migrants seek to enter from Russia | DW News

NATO’s newest member Finland has closed its border with Russia. That’s after a sudden increase in the arrival of refugees which Helsinki says has been orchestrated by Moscow.
Finland’s Foreign Minister, Elina Valtonen, has told DW Moscow’s threats against her country for closing its borders don’t worry them. “We are prepared and together with our partners and allies we will take all measures which are needed.”
