London attack: four dead, 20 injured in ‘terrorist incident’ near Parliament

Four people have been killed and at least 20 injured in London after a car ploughed into pedestrians and an attacker stabbed a police officer near the Houses of Parliament.

Among the dead, the policeman who was stabbed, two pedestrians hit by the car on Westminster Bridge and the attacker.

A major counter-terror investigation is underway in the British capital as the police announced they were treating it as a terrorist incident, and the Parliament remained on lockdown for a number of hours.
