Alex Batty: Police launch investigation into alleged abduction

A criminal investigation has been launched into the alleged abduction of Alex Batty six years after he went missing in Spain.

The teenager, who escaped from the Pyrenees by flagging down a van driver, has described how he wanted to leave his nomadic lifestyle.

Alex Batty was 11 when he left the UK with mother and grandfather, as Sadiya Chowdhury reports.
