Agencies rush to deliver aid to Gaza as long as truce holds | DW News

As the agreed truce between Israel and Hamas holds, UN agencies are scaling up aid deliveries to Gaza. They’re the largest humanitarian convoys since the start of the conflict. Many who’ve been displaced by Israel’s military operation are using the respite in fighting to search their bombed out homes for belongings. James Elder, spokesman for UNICEF, described the situation in Gaza and “ghastly.”
