The prime minister of Albania Edi Rama is warning European Union capitals that if they start accession talks for North Macedonia before Albania it will be harmful for the region.
Both countries are waiting for EU leaders to uphold the request of the EU commission in Brussels to open the talks.
But France, the Netherlands and Denmark are proving resistant to any motion towards expanding the EU by adding new countries.
