Biden threatens sanctions after Myanmar military coup

The Myanmar coup is a major international test for the new US Biden administration which has threatened the country with economic sanctions.
The US president called on the military to relinquish power immediately after detaining its elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
But Biden’s move risk pushing Myanmar closer to its ally, China.
