‘Bring back Boris’, says Tory MP

Dame Andrea Jenkyns has urged the Conservative Party to salvage their general election hopes and put Boris Johnson back in charge of the Tories.

The Tory MP for Morley and Outwood called for Rishi Sunak to resign several months ago.

But Dame Andrea admitted Mr Sunak “is not going anywhere”.

She says the government has to implement “common sense conservatism”, prioritising issues like illegal immigration and “free speech”.
