Can Palestinians expect the International Court of Justice to stop the Gaza war? | Conflict Zone

According to Mustafa Barghouti, leader of the Palestinian National Initiative, Palestinians expect the International Court of Justice to order a cease-fire in Gaza as a result of South Africa’s genocide case against Israel.
According to the charges, Israel’s military actions in Gaza are in breach of international law, and Barghouti predicts the ICJ is likely to let South Africa bring the full case.
He says the United States has lost its credibility as mediator because of its open-ended support for Israel.
