COVID-19: UK’s second wave more deadly than the first

Sky News’ analysis of mortality figures reveals deaths in the second wave of COVID-19 infections have overtaken the first in the UK.

The total number of people to have died in the UK with COVID-19 on their death certificate was just over 117,000 as of 22 January.
