Defence spending: ‘We need to ensure that the money is well spent’ – minister

Minister for defence procurement, James Cartlidge, says a “significant part” of the government’s increased defence spending will be in the UK, insisting “we need to ensure that the money is well spent”.

He also spoke to Kay Burley about the runaway horses in London and Labour’s commitment to overhaul the railway network.
