Former sex workers have told Sky News they were arrested for prostitution when they went to police to warn them about Iain Packer’s violent behaviour.
Packer, 51, was found guilty of Emma Caldwell’s murder in 2005.
But police bungled the original investigation.
Two women told Sky News they reported Packer to police in 2003 after being attacked by him, but they were ignored.
