EU leaders gather for a two-day summit in Brussels to discuss the situation in the Middle East, Ukraine, and the EU’s security and defence strategy.

It comes as German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said EU countries should decide to use windfall profits from frozen Russian assets to buy weapons and ammunition for Ukraine.
