Fuel tanker explosion in northern Nigeria kills at least 94 people, injures dozens

Police in northern Nigeria say a fuel truck explosion has killed at least 94 people and left 50 injured.
Officials say the blast occurred in Jigawa state late Tuesday evening after the truck veered to avoid another vehicle. Dozens of people were collecting spilled fuel from around the crashed tanker when it exploded. The injured have been rushed to local hospitals for emergency treatment.
