Foreign ministers from the Group of Seven countries meeting in Germany have called for an end to Russia’s blockade of Ukraine’s ports. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said Russia was waging a ‘food war’ by causing millions of tons of grain to go to waste.
Speaking at a gathering in Weissenhaus in northern Germany, Baerbock said G7 countries would never recognize Russia’s attempts to change international borders through war. The ministers vowed to increase pressure on Russia through sanctions, and called on China to not undermine international efforts to isolate Moscow.
