US news website Axios reported that Israel has offered Hamas a two-month fighting pause in exchange for the release of all hostages still being held in Gaza. The report comes as the city of Khan Younis endures the heaviest bombardment since the start of the war. The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says at least 50 people have been killed and more than 100 have been wounded. Several countries classify Hamas as a terrorist organization. Meanwhile, the IDF reports that 21 Israeli soldiers were killed when two buildings collapsed in a blast in central Gaza.
