Gazans ‘shocked’ as countries pause funding to UN aid agency | Israel-Hamas war

The UN Secretary General has urged countries that have paused funding to UNRWA to guarantee the continuity of the UN’s relief efforts in Gaza.

Nine countries, including the UK, have paused funding, however, Ireland and Norway have agreed to keep their funding in place.

It comes after claims UNRWA members were involved in Hamas’ attack on Israel on 7 October last year.
