Gaza’s garbage crisis: Living alongside piles of waste

Tons of waste are piling up across the Gaza Strip, contaminating water, polluting the air, and spreading disease. Hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians are sheltering in makeshift housing in Al Mawasi in southern Gaza, forced to live alongside growing piles of rubbish.
