German opposition parties deny Scholz support for passing laws in parliament | DW News

Germany’s embattled chancellor has challenged parliament to keep working despite the collapse of his governing coalition last week. In his first speech to parliament since then, Scholz urged all parties to pull together to pass important legislation ahead of a confidence vote next month and snap elections in February. But the session deteriorated into a heated blame-game. Was the debate in parliament a taste of the election campaign ahead?
