A Hamas spokesman has warned there is no immediate peace deal in the pipeline in Gaza.
US President Joe Biden said on Monday he hoped a deal would be ready to roll by the end of this weekend, in time for Ramadan.
However, Basem Naim told Yalda Hakim the group had not even seen a ceasefire proposal.
Negotiators are working on a weeks-long ceasefire between the two sides that would see the release of hostages being held in Gaza by the militant group in return for Israel releasing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
Mr Naim said Hamas would not agree to a deal without an absolute ceasefire.
