Sky’s Greg Milam discusses the deaths of seven aid workers in an airstrike in Gaza with emergency doctor James Smith and Karla McLaren, head of government affairs at Amnesty International UK.

Karla says the UK is “a key ally of Israel and should be working with the US and others to ensure that there are concrete consequences and actions taken to deter further breaches of international humanitarian law”.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has spoken to his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, to tell him he is appalled at the aid workers’ deaths.
