Supporters of Pakistan’s jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan have clashed with police in the country’s northwest. Thousands have been trying to get to the capital Islamabad after a court ruled protests by his political party to be unlawful. They have defied a lockdown and widespread arrests to call for his release.
