Jens Stoltenberg’s contract has been extended numerous times and he has been NATO Secretary General for almost a decade. Now he’s expected to pass the baton to his successor at an upcoming summit in Washington DC to mark NATO’s 75th anniversary.
But the next Secretary General must first secure unanimous support within the alliance.
