Israel accused of using white phosphorous as fears rise of all-out war | Israel-Hamas war

Israel has been accused of unlawfully dropping white phosphorus over residential buildings in neighbouring Lebanon.

A report by Human Rights Watch says Israeli forces deployed the substance in at least 17 towns since October last year.

It comes as the Israeli prime minister warned his forces are prepared for “strong action” in northern Lebanon, a statement that raises fears that an all-out attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon is imminent.
