Israel denies targeting humanitarian zone in fresh deadly blasts

Palestinian authorities say at least 37 people were killed by an IDF attack on a refugee camp in Al Mawasi, west of Rafah on Tuesday – it was outside the designated safe zone.

It comes after at least 45 people were killed in a fire after Israeli airstrikes in a tent camp in Rafah on Sunday. Israel’s Prime Minister has said the deaths were “a technical failure”.
