‘It could have been a lot worse,’ says Indian Wells tennis bee expert

Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz’s tennis match at Indian Wells was suspended for almost two hours as thousands of bees swarmed the court.

Lance Davis, owner of Killer Bee Live Removal, was called away from another job in California to remove the swarm in front of a packed stadium, a live TV audience and the world No 2.

After gaining the recognition from celebrities such as Ben Stiller for his heroics, Lance joined Sky News on Friday Night with Niall Paterson.
