President Joe Biden tells reporters that “it is reckless, dangerous and irresponsible” for anyone to say that Donald Trump’s trial in New York was rigged.
He outlined how 12 jurors had heard 5 weeks of evidence and reached a unanimous verdict on 34 counts, after hours of deliberation.
Donald Trump “now had the opportunity to appeal, just like anyone else”, Mr Biden said.
