Japan issues tsunami warning after earthquakes

Japan has issued a tsunami alert and further earthquake warnings after a series of strong earthquakes hit its north-central region.

The Japan Meteorological Agency reported a quake, one of them with a preliminary 7.6 magnitude, hitting Ishikawa and nearby areas.
