Joe Biden faced voter backlash over support for Israel | US Election

Joe Biden has won Michigan’s Democratic presidential primary, despite a significant protest vote over strong US support for Israel in the war in Gaza.

The US president faced a setback from within the Democratic Party with 100,000 votes cast as “uncommitted”.

Donald Trump also secured a comfortable victory in Michigan suggesting a near certain rematch with Mr Biden in the Presidential race.
