Junior doctors strike leaves cancer patients ‘terrified’

A cancer patient has told Sky News it’s “terrifying” for her health that junior doctors are striking again.

A five-day strike across England has begun, with warnings more walkouts will follow if the next government does not work to resolve a long-running pay dispute.

NHS bosses say the already struggling system is coming under added pressure from the hot weather and ongoing disruption to some services because of a recent cyber attack, as Sky’s Ashish Joshi reports.
