Sheikh Mishaal al-Ahmad al-Sabah has been sworn in as the new emir of Kuwait. He takes over from his half-brother, Sheikh Nawaf, who died on Saturday. The 83-year-old has overseen internal security and has a reputation for fighting corruption.
