Five hundred people lived in Sasa, a kibbutz in northern Israel, in peacetime – but now only 13 remain, following a mandatory evacuation order from the government.

In all, almost 100,000 Israelis have been forced to leave their homes along the border with Lebanon amid fears Hezbollah will come across the border, like Hamas did on 7 October.
