Al Jazeera’s correspondent Anas al-Sharif reports that Israeli forces carried out artillery bombardment near the Saad bin Abi Waqqas Mosque in Jabalia.
There are dead and wounded. The bombing comes during fierce battles between Palestinian armed groups and the Israeli army in the area.
“Horrific Israeli massacres and massive destruction in the city of Jabalia – The scene cannot be described. Dozens of martyrs are under the rubble and entire residential neighbourhoods have been levelled to the ground,” said al-Sharif.
