Millions in Niger are facing hardship over coup-related sanctions

It has been nearly five months since the coup in Niger ousted president Mohammed Bazoum.
The military takeover resulted in sanctions imposed by the regional bloc ECOWAS, including border closures and trade restrictions.
They have led to hyperinflation for millions of people already struggling with food shortages.
