Nigeria’s worst flooding in decades leaves thousands trapped | DW News

Up to one million people are believed to have been affected by devastating flooding in northeastern Nigeria.

Emergency crews in the city of Maiduguri are still trying to reach people trapped by the flood waters, which was caused by a dam collapse.

Authorities say at least 30 people have been killed, but that death toll is expected to rise as search and rescue operations continue.
