Groups of masked and armed men, called the ‘People’s Protection Committee’ are patrolling Rafah, on the lookout for black market pricing. The group, set up by armed factions and the Hamas-led Interior Ministry, says they’re taking over the role of municipal police who have disbanded following Israeli strikes on their forces.
