Police Scotland deliver statement as Emma Caldwell’s murder suspect is found guilty

Iain Packer, 51, has been convicted of murdering sex worker Emma Caldwell in 2005 after he was finally brought to justice despite major police failings.

Former sign fitter Iain Packer, 51, was found guilty of what the jury heard was the “execution” of the 27-year-old. He has been sentenced to at least 36 years in prison.
