Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk says his government is close to a deal with Ukraine on agricultural imports.

Tusk was speaking after talks with Ukraine’s premier Denys Shmyhal in Warsaw. Poland is seeking caps on cheap imports. Shmyhal says Kyiv has agreed to some limitations. Poland’s farmers have been protesting for months, saying Ukrainian imports are undercutting their own produce and threatening livelihoods.
