Polling stations attacked as Russians vote in presidential election

There have been protests in Russia as polling stations opened in a presidential election all but certain to return Vladimir Putin for another six-year term.

He’s standing virtually unchallenged, following the death of his fiercest rival Alexei Navalny, and with his other opponents either in jail or in exile.
