Prime minister leaving D-Day early is ‘appalling and disgusting,’ SNP says

The SNP’s cabinet secretary for health Neil Gray discusses Rishi Sunak’s apology for leaving the D-Day ceremony early and the SNP’s claim that Labour and the Conservatives will cut spending on public services.

On the prime minister’s apology, Mr Gray says Sunak’s actions were ‘utterly appalling and disgusting’ and ‘the offence that will be caused to the veteran community will be great’.
