Rishi Sunak admits to ‘difficult days’ after launching general election campaign

The prime minister has been in Belfast, where he spoke about needing to agree with Labour on key legislation before parliament is dissolved.

His flagship anti-smoking bill hasn’t made the cut, with compensation for sub-postmasters and victims of the infected blood scandal taking priority.
