Voting in the Russian presidential election doesn’t close until Sunday, but the result appears a fomality. One place where Vladimir Putin is expected to poll strongly, even by his own lofty standards, are the regions in occupied Ukraine. Moscow is working hard to get the vote out there, backed by an enthusiastic state media campaign.
